Are you serious?

Well since Saturday night around 1:00 a.m. Jonathon has had major stomach pain.. He survived (barely) through the night.. and we took him to the clinic Sunday morning.. The doctor thought he might have food poisoning and put and IV in him to help keep him hydrated because he'd thrown up so much.. They gave him some pain medication.. and about 3 hours later sent us home.. with a prescription for nausea. Sunday he pretty much slept all day.. and Monday it seemed like he was getting better.. Well Monday night the pain started up really bad again.. and he started throwing up about every 20 min... he survived through the night again.. but knew something was really wrong.. So this morning we took him to the E.R. and found out that he has a kidney stone :( Oh my poor baby.. The doctor said that it had passed about 90% of the way.. So basically he suffered in pain the whole time.. not knowing exactly what it was.. And you know boys.. they don't go to the hospital until they are dying.. and a few times throughout the horrible couple of days.. he did in fact say he'd rather die.. than continue having the pain he was... We were at the hospital for about 3 hours today.. and he was sent home with a bunch of different medication.. Pain killers included! So hopefully he'll be able to sleep. The doctor said that it should pass soon.. but it could take up to a week.. Hopefully it won't because if you don't pass it on your own.. you have to have it removed.. and of course that just stinks.. So pray for him.. and hopefully it will pass very quickly.

A little update!

Well this past week has been a little crazy.. I was really sick last week, and found out I had an ear infection.. which I've never had in my whole life I don't think. I'm glad that I don't get them often because it's been annoying.. Well I finally am getting better and now Jonathon has Bronchitis, and Alexis has an ear infection. So I hope that we get over this sickness bug. We've been hanging out with Jonathon's Uncle and Aunt from Oregon for the past couple nights... They are looking for a house in Utah and hoping to move here soon. They have a little girl that's only 5 months younger than Lexi, so they've had fun playing.

Alexis is getting funnier every day. The other night I said something and she said "Mom, what does that mean?" I answered and she then said "Well what does that mean?" She can now talk our ears off.. and it never ceases to amaze me at the things that come out of her mouth! So she has us laughing a lot. I'm going to put her in a dance class soon, and I know that she'll just LOVE it! She dances to everything and anything.. She still does her sign language, and everyone that sees it thinks it's adorable! She's getting way too big.. but she is very entertaining! She is fully POTTY TRAINED! Oh yeah.. She wears her big girl panties all the time now.. and won't let us put a diaper on. She even wears them to bed.. Which is awesome! So she did it.. and she is now a BIG GIRL :)

My family is coming up this weekend for the Jazz Game and we are all getting excited to go!

BBQ weather

Jonathon's Uncle and Aunt from Oregon came to Utah to look for a house, and we all got together for a BBQ on Saturday.. It was a little windy, but we had a good time. Alexis had a good time playing on the playground with all the kids.

We have a park across the street from our house.. and Alexis asks us every day if we can go play.. She loves going down the slides, and always picks the biggest one! Jonathon tried to fit with her a few times.. but he's a little too tall!! It was such nice weather the other day.. and it was great to get outside after being sick for so long :)

Basketball fun!

We went down to Monticello a couple of weekends ago to get family pic's done. A couple of nights we were there, we all went to the church to play some basketball! Alexis had a good time running around.. and everyone had a good time playing.

Gotta stay positive.

I can't believe how crappy I still feel. I feel like I've been sick forever.. I found out yesterday that I have an ear infection :( and I am just feeling like rolling over and dying. I've never been the person to get sick often.. or be sick for long periods of time.. I'm starting to get frustrated. I've spent the last couple days lying in bed.. and I miss running around with Alexis. She's also a little bit sick though, so she hasn't had to much energy either.

We did get to go to Monticello this past weekend, to take family pictures.. Well that did not go as planned.. Alexis didn't smile at all :( She was not in the mood. It was cold and she was sick.. oh I can't even begin to explain how disappointed I am. I hope that we got at least one of Alexis NOT CRYING.. I don't know I guess we'll see. Anyways Monticello was fun, but I was sick the whole time. It was good to see everyone! I'm just hoping the next time we all get together, I don't feel so sick. I did take pictures, and I will post them as soon as I can. Anyways I'm trying to stay positive.. So other than being sick we've been doing really great!

Last night I asked Alexis to go get something.. and she said "Mom I can't, I'm too little." Yeah she didn't think she was too little to get into all the other stuff she knew she shouldn't! I just thought it was so cute :)

So I've been coughing all day.. I'm a little frustrated because we are leaving for Monticello tomorrow, to get family pictures taken this Saturday.. When I get sick with a cold, it usually turns into Bronchitis or something dumb.. I'm really hoping that the coughing will subside and that we can enjoy our weekend in Monticello! I'm so so excited to see my family :) I feel like it's been years since I've seen Ami and her little family.. It's only been since December, but for our family that is WAY to long.. We are very close and I wouldn't change it for the world! Baby Nicole is growing like a weed.. and is seriously the cutest thing ever! Alexis keeps asking when we get to go see Umpa, Bummy Ree, Aunt Kowy, Chad, Baby Cole, Unkie Derek, Ami, and Cocoa! So I'm glad we are going tomorrow! Anyways I really hope that this pounding headache will go away.. Wish me luck :)

I hate the sickness bug..

My poor little monkey is getting sick.. She spent the day laying around with Jonathon watching Star Wars..(Yeah she really likes it) it's pretty funny! One ended and she said another one dad! She is a little stink though, because she will NOT take her medicine.. So we've been having to bribe her a little.. I really hope that she doesn't get too sick.. because I can't stand when she is sick, and I can't do anything but just hold her..

She is learning her ABC's and will sing "I know my ABC, next time sing with me!" She's a cutie..

She is very smart and knows quite a bit of sign language signs! It's so cute to see her do them.. She is always doing them!! She's getting more and more independent every day.. and puts us in our place! She is definately a little monkey.. so when she is sick it's just so sad to see her actually sit still for an hour.. It doesn't happen a lot.. Anyways pray she doesn't get any worse, but only better :)

Repeating Outfit..

So I took a bunch of pic's of Lexi.. and then realized the last time I took pic's of her she was wearing the same outfit! But it was a good couple weeks in between.. I didn't know if all the bows in her hair were a little much or not.. But I still think she looks cute :)

Alexis' attempt!

This is Alexis' attempt to make Chocolate Milk! She always wants Chocolate Milk.. and one day she decided she'd do it herself! There was Chocolate mix all over and she poured this red juice in hoping that it'd taste the same.. Jonathon and I walked around the corner to find this!

Babysitting :)

About 2 weeks ago we watched Christian and Mary.. And this is what Jonathon decided to do to keep them all entertained.. He'd roll them on a big workout ball! They were laughing and had a good time. Jonathon played golf with them.. Hiding go seek.. and a lot more games! It was fun to watch them.. Mary is getting so big, and Christian says the funniest things!

Happy B-day to me!

Well my birthday weekend has been fun! On Friday night Jonathon surprised me and when we got to Applebees to eat.. Chris, Summer, Jesse, and Olga were all there. Then a little later Keri, Erin, Clayton and a friend, Valerie, Jal, and his friend, Fausto and Ivin came.. Anyways it was fun to chat with everyone, especially since I thought it was just going to be Jonathon and I. After dinner we all went and attempted to get into a dance party in Provo.. But we just couldn't handle waiting in the cold.. so we didn't get to go dance.. but it's okay. Jesse and Olga got me a gift card to Aeropostale (I love that store) so on Saturday we went shopping!! We had a lot of fun at the mall and stopped for lunch! Then me and Jonathon watched movies and hung-out Saturday night.. We are going over to his mom's tonight for dinner! My b-day present from Jonathon was some hair extensions that I've wanted.. and my Mom was so very thoughtful and got me flowers that were delivered to my house! They are very very beautiful! I can't believe I'm already 23! It just seems crazy.. Anyways I finally got a battery for my camera, so I will be posting pic's again soon. Keri got a few pic's of all the people that were at Applebees so I will have to post them when I get a chance! Anyways Happy b-day to me!!

Growing a little to fast...

We went to the park across the street from us today, (no camera.) and it was so much fun to see Alexis play!! I can't believe how big she is getting.. She is turning into such a smart, funny little lady.. She makes me laugh every day. She's always saying something that is just so funny.. Today when we got to the park, I looked at the biggest slide there and thought there is no way she'll go down that.. Well it was the first one she picked, and she didn't need any help. She amazes me! She is such a little cuddle buddy, and will just hold you forever! One thing that she's done for as long as I can remember, is play with my hair when she is half asleep.. It will be like 4 in the morning, and she'll just start playing with my hair, just to make sure I'm still there... She is definitely ready to sleep in her big girl bed, and always falls asleep in her room.. But I always end up going to get her because I can not sleep.. Every little sound makes me so worried.. Alexis has slept with us since she was a baby ( I know everyone will say that is the worst thing) but I've never cared.. I love having her next to us.. and knowing that she is safe in our arms. Plus in the apt. we are in, her bedroom has a huge window and her room is quite a ways away from ours... so I just feel more at ease when she is in our room.

I'm so so proud of her every single day.. I can't imagine life without my little monkey... She definitely keeps us on our toes.. and is such a joy to have around! I'm very lucky to be a mom, and I am so thankful that Heavenly Father sent her to us.. She will be turning 3 in July, and I just can't believe it's gone by so fast.. But every day is a new adventure with her.. and I can't wait to see how she'll learn and grow!

Our weekend..

Friday night was a lot of fun! We took Alexis to Jonathon's mom's house, and had her aunties watch her. Jonathon and I met Nick and Keri at Applebees (one of our fav. restaraunts). We had a lot of fun just visiting while we ate.. Keri took a few pic's but I didn't have my camera.. Then afterwards we went and got ice cream, and went and saw Slumdog Millionaire! I highly recommend that movie.. It was great! It was such a different storyline.. Nick is hilarious.. and it's been fun getting to know him..

Yesterday was a great day too.. We just got to stay at home and hang-out all day! I made a few new bows ( I just found my stuff, I didn't know where I'd put it when we moved). Then Jonathon, Lexi, and I went and got some Taco Bell, always good! Then we just watched a movie at home.. I love just being at home with my family. I stayed in my PJ's all day :)

We are having Nick and Keri over for dinner tonight.. but my camera is now dead.. So I won't be able to take pic's.. I'm sure Keri will get some! Anyways I hope everyone is doing great and had a wonderful weekend!
