10 years...
I can't believe it's been ten years since that horrible, tragic day. I remember watching the news before school started. At that time only the North tower had been hit. I remember watching the news at school as well.. and the teacher telling us that we needed to write in our journals about what was happening. At the time I was 15 years old and really didn't comprehend the devastation. I quickly wrote about 4 sentences and left it at that. Now that I'm older watching it replay on the news or different T.V. programs brings me to tears. I still can't believe how many lives were lost. How many Fathers, Mothers, Sisters, Brothers, Sons, Daughters, Uncles, Aunts, Grandchildren, and friends did not go home that night. It is so heartbreaking to hear loved ones tell the stories of saying goodbye one last time.

Alexis in Tumbling!
Alexis is absolutely LOVING her tumbling, gymnastics, and riding lessons. This is her Tumbling class. She gets SO excited to go.. and she really does get better every week. Her cartwheels have really improved, considering she didn't know how to do one before she started! I'm so proud of her! She is so fun to watch :)

Sept. 2, 2011. Lexi's First day of School!
Well my little Lexi started school on Sept. 2. She was SO excited to go! Her class doesn't start till 12:30... so all morning she kept asking me if it was time to go yet. She wasn't afraid at all :) When I picked her up she came running to me and said "That school is SO much fun!" I'm so glad that so far she is really enjoying it! Her teacher is great and there are a few kids from our Ward in her class. Her teachers name is Carrie. When she first heard that she said "Mom, like Aunt Keri's name!" LOL!
