Our Weekend..

This past weekend has been great! My Mom, Alexis, Grandma Josie, and I drove up north on Thursday afternoon because I had a Doc appt. My doctor said that the baby is doing great and growing just as she should be! The heartbeat sounded awesome.. and Alexis' little face just lit up when she heard it :) I asked Dr. Willis about the whole "how many c-sections someone can have" and he said he has done 11 c-sections on one of his patients. So I'm not at all worried now about having another c-section if I do decide to go that route. Dr. Willis said that if I keep seeing him.. he would be willing to induce me 2 weeks before my due date and that we would try a VBAC. That means Kinleigh would be here around Feb. 1st :) That is 2 weeks less that we have to wait to hold our little baby!! He said that I really don't have to choose just yet.. and that if we are going to be coming up here once a month anyways that he'd obviously love for me to keep seeing him. I do think I'm going to still meet with a Dr. in Monticello just in case I go into labor before my induction date and have to have the baby in Monticello. At least the doctor would know of me. But I'm no longer stressed out about it.. I am going to keep seeing my doctor up north and hope that Kinleigh will stay in until my induction date. I just feel more confident with Dr. Willis. Plus he delivered Alexis and I just think that would be neat for them to both have the same doc! Anyways...
Thursday night "the girls" and Chad all went to Red Robin for Keri and Kelly's b-day!! It was very yummy and I bought dinner for them for their b-day gift :) I also had Alexis' 4 year old pic's done at Kiddie Kandids that night.. They turned out so cute!! I will post them soon :) Jonathon, my Dad, Derek, and Derek's friend got to Kelly's house around 5:30 am. on Friday morning. They left when my Dad and Jonathon got off work. Then Jonathon and Chad woke up around 9 am. to go do some Pest Control services they needed to get done. We just kind of hung out on Friday and then that night the whole family went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate Jonathon's, Kelly's, and Keri's b-days :) It was a lot of fun, but traffic was horrible that night. After dinner Jonathon, Alexis, and I went over to Dennis and Valynn's house to hang out and visit with Jonathon's family. We stayed the night at Celena's, then the next morning drove back down to Kelly's house to hang out. We went to the park and watched Chad fly his airplane and Lexi and Nicoley got to play on the playground :) Afterwards we went to Kelly's to get the girls ready for Halloween! They both looked so adorable :)
Since it was pouring rain we decided we'd try the "mall trick 0r treating" and it actually was really fun! The girls didn't have to freeze outside and got some yummy candy :) We all then drove up to Celena's and did a trunk or treat in her neighborhood.. It was still raining really bad so we got out of the car just long enough to go through the line. We waited about an hour and then my Mom, Kelly, Nicoley, Alexis, and I went around Celena's neighborhood and the girls had a lot of fun going and ringing the doorbells :) They both got their buckets filled up with candy and then we called it good!
Jonathon, Alexis, and I then went over to Dennis and Valynn's again and played games with his family that night as well :)
It was so fun to be able to do Halloween with both my family and Jonathon's family.. Even though the weather didn't cooperate at all. I wonder how many kids will be knocking doors tonight being that it is Sunday??

So a few weeks ago Kelly and I decided that instead of having our girls old clothes sit in boxes that she would use some of Alexis clothes that fit Nicoley perfectly right now.. and that I could take Nicoley's old baby clothes for Kinleigh!! I think it was a GREAT idea, because now Nicole has a whole new wardrobe and I probably have 7 garbage bags full of baby clothes between Alexis' baby clothes and Nicoley's baby clothes. In fact we counted the baby shoes and between Nicole's and Alexis'.. Kinleigh will start out with like 45 pairs of shoes!! I'm glad that both Kelly and I saved all of our stuff! Almost all of the clothes are in perfect condition :) Some haven't even been worn! It was fun going through all of Alexis' old things and Nicoley's. It's crazy that Alexis fit in those things.. lol. And it has been so fun to see Nicole in some of my favorite outfits of Alexis' :) Better that than them sitting in boxes for years and years.
Nicole is getting so big already too! She is so much fun right now :) Alexis and her get along pretty good.. they fight about toys sometimes.. but what kids don't? I'm glad Lexi has Sorcia, Izzy, and Nicoley to play with!

Jonathon and I were going to go back to Monticello today.. But our car has a broken mount something?? I don't really know.. so we are getting it fixed tomorrow morning. The car is still under warranty so that is a good thing. Then we'll head home so that Jonathon can make it to work tomorrow night. Tonight we are supposed to be getting together with Jonathon's family again.. so that should be fun. I will post Halloween pics soon :)

Halloween through the years!!

This was taken today... Alexis got to wear her costume to Preschool today! She was super excited.. I was worried that she'd bend her wings.. but she took great care of it :) She decided she wanted to be a Lady Bug this year! Her costume is from Old Navy this year as well!
My little Lady Bug eating breakfast before school this morning :)

She is getting so stinkin big.. :( makes me sad.... But
she is a beautiful Lady Bug!!
Last year Alexis was a Butterfly :) I got her costume at Old Navy!

In 2008 Alexis was a cute little Kitty Cat! She was so so stinkin cute with that little tail on the back :) I got this costume from Old Navy.

Alexis is 1 year old here... How time flies by.. She was Snow White this year but wore her coat over it most the time because it wasn't the warmest costume ever... She was a very cute Snow White :)

Lexi's first pumpkin! Jonathon carved her name in it.. She is just so little... I miss those days sometimes :(

Pretty scenery :)

We drove up the mountain the other day, while Derek was looking for Deer for the Deer hunt. The trees are so pretty right now :) Alexis has been enjoying riding out with them to look for deer. My Dad already got his, but Derek hasn't yet.. So hopefully soon!

Carving pumpkins!

We went and got some pumpkins the other night.. and Alexis was so excited to carve one! We only carved one.. so that the other ones wouldn't go bad before Halloween. But Alexis really wanted to carve at least one.. and she enjoyed helping her daddy do it :)
The finished product :)
Alexis helping clean out all the yucky stuff!

At first she didn't mind picking out all the seeds.. but then she
didn't want the yucky stuff on her hands.. so she made Jonathon do it!

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins....

Alexis and I drove up north this past weekend with my mom and Grandma Josie. My Grandma had a dentist appt. so we went along for the ride.. and just for something to do. On Saturday Alexis and I went to this Pumpkin place with Chad, Kelly, and Nicole. Kelly and I wanted to get a couple cute pics of the girls by the pumpkins.. Nicole didn't cooperate too well, but I think we got a couple of cute ones!
Gigantic Pumpkins!

Playing guitar :)

Alexis loves to play guitar with her dad. Anytime Jonathon plays Alexis will get her guitar out too! I love that Alexis will get to grow up learning how to play.. Jonathon and her will probably even write songs together! It is just something they really enjoy doing together :)

For Journal Purposes..

I am now 22 weeks along as of 2 days ago. I have been feeling the baby move inside for a few weeks now.. but on Tuesday when she kicked I felt it on the outside! It was an exciting moment for me :) I put my hand where she had kicked and she did it two more times :) I just wanted to hurry and post it so that I would remember.

It seems like she is the most active when I first wake up around 8 or 9.. and then later on in the evening around 6 or 7 pm. Every time I feel her move it makes me very happy!
For some reason I'm having a hard time sleeping lately and just can't seem to get comfortable. If it's already like this.. I can't imagine what sleeping will be like when I'm huge! I love, love having a belly again!

Before I found out I was pregnant the first time, with the baby I miscarried in February.. I was watching "Toddler's and Tiara's" on TLC. One of the little girls name was Kinley, and I thought it was so cute! So I told Jonathon.. and he said he actually liked it. He never likes any names I suggest. So from then on I told myself that would be the name of the next little girl. So I believe we are still set on that.. But who knows.. I guess it could always change. Alexis already calls the baby Kinley though so I'm sure we'll keep it. Now I just need to decide on a middle name. I don't know if I should use my middle name which is Ann, Jonathon mom's middle name which is Rose, or Camille (just because I think Kinley Camille is cute!) I don't know.. I guess we'll see.

There is one decision that I continue to loose sleep over.. That is where I want to have the baby. I know that anything can change at anytime during pregnancy so I can't make a for sure plan but here is what I'm up against. We are here in Monticello, so most people would assume that I would just have the baby here. BUT if I see a doctor here and deliver the baby here.. this hospital will not allow me to try to have a VBAC (Vaginal birth after Cesarean.) So I'd have to be scheduled for another c-section. The bad thing about c-sections is that a lot of doctors will tell you that you will probably only be able to have 3-4 c-sections before it starts getting to dangerous for you and your baby. I DO NOT want to be limited to the number of children I want or get to have. The good thing about delivering here is that I'm already here.. and Jonathon is only 30 mins away when he is at work.
Okay so then the other option, (if the baby doesn't decide to come really early) is that I stay up north with Kelly or Jonathon's mom the last month of my pregnancy and have my doctor that delivered Alexis, be the one that delivers this baby. The good thing about him and having the baby up there is that he said doing a VBAC is an option and that he would definitely be willing to try that. Of course with a VBAC it is never guaranteed that something won't change or come up and then I would just have to have a c-section anyways.. But if I did go into labor up there (before the induction date) and if Jonathon was at work, he would be 4 hours away. So I seriously am loosing sleep over this. I feel a lot more confident being in a bigger hospital up north. Maybe I'm just acting spoiled.. but if I can have a vaginal birth.. I would really like to try. I wish that the hospital here in Monticello would allow that. It kind of scares me that they don't. Anyways I am still seeing my Doctor up north.. And I guess I'll just have to see how things go.. I was thinking that I could maybe at least meet with a Doctor here just to see what I think. I just think it would be so dumb to have another surgery if I don't absolutely have to. Healing from a c-section is not fun. So yeah that is my dilemma.. Jonathon says I worry too much, and that even if I make a plan.. it will probably end up changing because babies decide when they are going to come not us... But I would rather have some sort of plan than just wing it.. right? I guess we'll just have to see.

My baby girl....

I wanted to hurry and just jot down some stuff about my baby girl :)

Alexis has been mine and Jonathon's whole world for the past 4 years... I've been trying to catch up on scrapbooks and things before the baby comes, because I know I probably won't ever get to it if I don't. So I've been going through old pictures of Alexis and watching old videos. I seriously cannot believe that my baby girl is 4 years old. Jonathon and I did not plan on having a baby so soon. Alexis was a huge surprise. I didn't even know I was pregnant with her until I took a test on Jan. 11, 2006. We went to the Doctor a couple of days later I believe, and he said that I was already 13 weeks along. We were shocked to say the least. My pregnancy with her went by very quickly and before we knew it she was here. Alexis was breech my whole pregnancy.. so I had to have a c-section. We were only at the hospital for maybe an hour and a half and then she was there. She was so tiny and precious!! From that day on Alexis has been my number one priority :)
Now she is so independent and just so grown up already. Right now some of Alexis' favorite things are.. Chocolate Milk, Reading books before bedtime, Sorcia and Izzy, Playing Outside, Playing guitar and singing (the other day she asked me if I will be there when she has a song on the radio!) She loves to play dress up, she loves to dreesup as a cheerleader, dancing, waffles, mac n' cheese, horses, puzzles, dressing up like a cowgirl, brushing her teeth, Disney channel, Preschool, Recess candy bars, practicing writing her name, talking and singing to my belly, Ami's dog Shadow, and wrestling on the bed with her dad.
She is such a busy body.. and will just go and go all day long. Alexis still comes up with the funniest sayings.. I don't even know where she gets some of the things she says.. But she sure does keep us laughing. She is so excited for Halloween and keeps asking me when it will be here :) She loves going over to Sorcia and Izzy's or having them come play over here. From the minute she wakes up she'll ask "Mom, when will Sorcia and Izzy be out of school?"
Alexis has a really great imagination. She can keep herself entertained for hours.. just playing some sort of pretend game. It's funny to watch because she'll talk to herself and make it really dramatic!! If I let her.. she'd jump on the tramp and play outside all day long! She likes to act out different parts of her favorite movies.. For instance she loves the movie "Bolt" right now. In the movie the little girl has a dog.. so Alexis will go get her stuffed dog and act out her favorite parts of the movie! I really think that Alexis could be a little actress and I'm sure people that know her would say the same thing.
She can definitely be a little drama queen.. but a cute drama queen! She can't wait till her baby sister gets here.. and I know that she'll be such a wonderful big sister!
Alexis still loves to cuddle right between Jonathon and I before bedtime. She'll usually fall asleep that way and then I'll put her in her bed. Jonathon and I enjoy cuddling with her just as much! Even though I am so anxious for the baby to come.. I'm trying to enjoy this time with Alexis, because I know it won't ever be the same. I love Alexis more than I could ever explain! She is so beautiful and still gets at least 2-3 comments on her hair every day :) I'm so proud of her already!

On Saturday we went and had dinner in this huge shed/warehouse thing out at Linda Lewis' house. Dinner was yummy! Alexis got to play with some of her cousins that she doesn't know very well.. and she had a great time :) After church on Sunday we went and had dinner over at my Grandpa and Grandma Ramsay's house. It as good to see some Ramsay cousins and uncles and aunts that we don't get to see very often.
