It's time to start riding!

So for the past couple weeks I've been telling Jonathon that I really wanted a bike, so that I could start excersing... I HATE running, and I've always loved riding bikes ever since I was little. So on Monday, I came home and there was a note on the door that said "Surprise Babe, I love you." I walked in the house.. and this is what I found!!! YAY I have a bike and Jonathon has a bike.. and Lexi has a little carriage thing to ride in! So for that past two nights we've gone on a family bike ride :) I think it's going to be GREAT! And hopefully I can get back into shape in the process! Alexis absolutely loves it and asks all the time when we get to go on another bike ride! So THANK YOU SO MUCH BABE, for our Bikes!

Our Weekend..

Well we had a pretty busy weekend.. The Expo was a lot of fun and we went to that both Friday and Saturday. Jonathon was there from 11:00 am to 8 pm both days. I'm glad we could go and hang out! Friday night after the Expo.. Jonathon, me, Alexis, Keri, Jonathon's old roomate Aaron, Clayton, and Clayton's sister Valerie all went to the Pizza Factory! It was really yummy and we had a great time laughing :) After dinner we went up to Clayton's and played Rockband! Keri and I kicked butt! Alexis even got into it! Saturday after the Expo Keri and Aaron came over to our house to watch a movie.. and we all just visited. Tonight we went up to my Aunt and Uncles to visit and eat Beans and Chili! Oh it is the best food ever! My aunt and uncle always make sure to invite us.. because they know how much we love it! Thanks you guys! Afterwards we went to Clayton's for a BBQ.. No we didn't eat again.. we were stuffed. But we did play some more Rockband. On the way home we stopped at Chris and Summer's for just a minute so that Jonathon could fax something.. and Lexi got to play with Christian and Mary for a little bit. So this weekend was a lot of fun.. and relaxing at the same time.. It was fun to hang out with Keri.. and Jonathon was so excited to hang out with his old roomate. They hadn't seen eachother since before I met Jonathon.. So it had been way to long. They shared story after story.. and couldn't stop laughing. Jonathon thinks Keri should like him.. because he says he is such a stud!! We'll see :)

I got the rest of our family pic's back.. but don't know when I'll be able to scan them onto my computer.. I guess whenever I get down to my mom's or something.. But when I do.. I'll post them! Anyways I'm ready for bed.. but I hope everyone had a great weekend! Love you all.

Home Expo!

So this weekend was the Home Expo at UVU. Jonathon, Chris, and Clayton set up a booth for Precision Tile, and Alexis and I went and hung-out for a few hours both Friday and Saturday. We had a lot of fun going around from booth to booth and getting a lot of candy! Some booths had balloons, others had popcorn.. it was great! I was worried that Alexis would get bored fast.. but there was plenty to look at! The Expo went really good and the business got a lot of really good leads! We are so excited that it is starting to pick up! It is so fun to watch Jonathon talk to people so professionally.. and I admire what he is doing with the business! The second day we were there.. Alexis was being so silly! She kept chewing her gum.. and just being a goofball! She is so much fun :)

So as I said in a previous post.. Jonathon's Unlce and Aunt have moved to Utah from Oregon.. Alexis has been having a lot of fun playing with their little girl Aleah. They play so good together.. And it is so fun to watch. They jump on the tramp, they play on the swing set.. And they run around all day!

The view from their backyard is amazing.. With the lake literally in their backyard! So I had to get a few pic's of the view!

We are happy to have them here.. and I'm glad Alexis has a cousin so close to her age! They are only 5 months apart.. so it's great!

Bedtime Stories!

Alexis' Grandpa John got her this Princess Songs book for Easter, and she just loves it! Every night she plays the songs over and over.. and will sing along! She had just gotten out of the bath and just looked so cute singing along with the songs.. I just had to take pictures.

Jonathon's Uncle Dennis and Aunt Valynn's family have officially moved to Utah! They are renting a gorgeous house out in Saratoga Springs, and the lake is literally right in there back yard. It is so neat! They got here on Sunday night, and we went over on Monday and hung-out. Alexis and Aleah have so much fun together.. and get along great! Yesterday Alexis was begging Jonathon to take her to play with her friend. So they went over there yesterday as well. This summer will be a lot of fun to be able to have that house right next to the lake! Now we just need a boat!

Alexis is growing like a weed. She is so tall. No one believes us when we say she is only 2 1/2. Most people think she is 4. She is taller than her cousins that are at least a year older than her.. And if she keeps growing like this.. She is going to outgrow me pretty fast! She is getting smarter and smarter every single day.. and it is so much fun to watch her! The other day we were driving out to Saratoga.. and we said something.. and Alexis says "That is perfectly fine, mom!" She is very polite! I am just so proud of her.. and love her so much.

Jonathon and Chris have been focusing a lot of marketing the business this past week. They are going to be at the Business Expo this weekend, and also have a government job they are going to start soon.. He is just staying busy with that, and is always on the phone.

We are going to really try and start looking really hard for a house, so that we can get into one hopefully in the next few months. There is just crazy deals right now.. and we are excited to get into a house... So I'm always looking at new houses that are posted everyday :)

Well today was another busy, but fun day! We went to church and afterwards drove up to visit my Aunt and Uncle. Then we went over to Claytons house so that Jonathon could play some guitar with a friend. Then went to Jonathons moms for dinner! When we got home we were ready to sit down.. eat popsicles, and watch a movie :)

We had a really fun weekend and I'm so glad that we get to spend so much time together as a family!

Wedding!

Jonathons cousin Jamie got married yesterday out in Eagle Mtn. So are day started out going to the wedding.. Alexis had fun dancing (as always)! We got to of course visit with Jonathon's family and eat Spaghetti afterwards. After the wedding we then drove to West Valley where we watched Chris and Clayton play football. Then we came to our house.. ate and then went and saw the movie 17 Again! It was a good movie.. and Alexis was such a good girl the whole time! So we had a pretty busy day, but it was a lot of fun! Congrats to Dave and Jamie!

Camping for Easter!

Well we got to go camping out the The Falls for Easter! It was a lot of fun! And we ate lots of yummy food. Alexis had such a good time camping.. and wanted to go on hike after hike! Jonathon really enjoyed riding his bike.. And it was good to get away and enjoy some of the outdoors! Kelly and Chad were camping with the Butlers not to far from where we were! So we got to enjoy everyones company:) Jonathon and I even got all brand new camping stuff before we went! So it was a really great trip..

Well here are just a few of our family pic's we got taken in March... I think they turned out cute.. But there was not one single one of Alexis actually smiling her real smile. She was very grouchy that day, because she was so sick. And then it was freezing outside.. so she just didn't cooperate.. I'm waiting for some more to come in the mail.. and then I'll have to scan them when I get them.. But here are a few that my mom and Keri have got! I love the ones of my mom and dad!

Update!

Well it has been a crazy couple of weeks... Jonathon finally passes his Kidney Stone or so he thinks.. He didn't actually see it, but the pain just started to go away this last weekend. We actually go to go out to The Falls and go camping with my family for Easter! It was a lot of fun, but the weather wasn't that great.. Jonathon was so excited to get back outside, and moving again! We are very happy to have our dad back :) My mom came up last week to help me with Alexis.. and I really appreciate her so much! She is always willing to go out of her way to help any of her kids whenever they need it! Love you mom! Alexis had so much fun with her Bummy Ree.. and when we got back up here from camping she'd look for my mom and say " Where's Bummy Ree mom?" I think she thought Grandma was moving in! Well now that Jonathon is feeling better he is going full speed ahead with the Tile business.. By the way if anyone out there needs to remodel there bathroom.. kitchen.. etc. You know who to call right? Keep Precision Tile in mind :) I got some pic's of camping for Easter and I'll have to post them later.. But we are just glad that life is getting back to normal.. well a little normal I guess!

Well we are going on exactly a week from tonight.. that Jonathon has had this Kidney stone crap.. and I'm about ready to rip my hair out.. And that's me.. Jonathon is exhausted from having to deal with the pain. I really don't ever ever want to get kidney stones.. and really pray that I never do. Alexis tries to cuddle with her daddy.. but it hurts him if she's not soft.. so she doesn't really go near him to much :( We miss our dad! And you can definately tell he misses being his normal self..

Trip down memory lane :)

So I came across some pic's that I thought were so cute.. I just had to post them.. Alexis has been such a blessing to us since the day she was born! She is our whole world.. and brings so much joy into our lives. I can't believe that our baby girl will be 3 years old in July. She is so smart, and has such a wide vocabulary now days.. it's just so crazy! She's always had the cutest smile.. and entertains everyone around her! She's such a joy to have around.. and I can't imagine live without her! So here is a look back.. at a few pic's of our beautiful baby girl!

Fun in the Sun!

We went up to my aunts house.. and got to babysit Nicole while Kelly and Chad did some shopping. It was such a nice day.. and Alexis and Nicole had a good time enjoying the sunshine!

Jazz Game!!

My family came up the for the weekend and we all went to a Jazz Game. It was on March 28th and it was against the Phoenix Suns! It was such an awesome game! I'm so glad we went :) Alexis even got to go.. and she had such a blast! She absolutely loved all the music and cheering! She'd say "Go Jazz" and then she'd say "Defense" while the crowd was saying it! She loved it! GO JAZZ!
