Monday Sept 15th.. The beginning!!

The first couple of stops on our vacation were of course the Salt Lake airport.. and the San Diego airport.. We were all so excited for the beginning of our vacation!! Yeah for the cruise!

Thanks Mom!!

I just wanted to say Thanks mom!! Alexis had such a good time with you... You do such a good job with her!! We love you so much and are so grateful we have such an awesome mom and grandma.. that is willing to watch a 2 year old monkey for a whole week!

We're Back~

So our vacation officially ended Monday afternoon.. We flew home to Salt Lake at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.. We had the best time on our cruise!! Going on a cruise is definitely the way to travel.. It feels like you are constantly eating because there is such great food 24/7! The shows on the ship are awesome and they do one every night!! We met so many nice people, and had so much fun with our cruise buddies.. Chris and Summer! The cruise was a 5 day in which we got to go to Cabo San Lucas and Ensinada Mexico!! Both places were so much fun!! I'd love to go back someday! While we were gone Alexis stayed with my mom.. They had a good time together.. My mom said every time we'd call Lexi would get really excited! My mom told her that we were on a boat, so I guess she'd let everyone know that Mom and Dad were on a boat!! Alexis' favorite thing to do at my mom's is chase the family dog around.. She's gotten very good at saying Cocoa! My mom said that would keep her entertained for a long time! Chris and Summer bought 200 texts so that we could keep in touch with the kids! I think we only used 50 between all of us though! We definitely kept busy.. The cruise ended on Saturday and Chris and Summer flew home.. Jonathon and I stayed at the Omni San Diego hotel which is right in downtown San Diego.. And it was so fun!! We hung-out the rest of Saturday afternoon and just relaxed.. We walked down 5th Avenue, which has so much stuff to do and shops and restaurants.. On Sunday we went to Sea World and afterwards Mission Beach!! It was so much fun and San Diego is beautiful!! We spent one more night in San Diego and came home Monday.. We didn't get to the Salt Lake airport till around 5 p.m. but drove right to Monticello because we missed Alexis so much!! I cried the day we left and was a little worried that I'd miss her and not enjoy my vacation.. I did miss her but I knew that she was in great hands! She always has so much fun with my mom!! I think both Summer and myself did pretty good! I didn't let myself think about it to much.. otherwise I would get really sad! In Cabo we went snorkeling in St. Maria bay.. And then went around to all the different shops! In Ensinada we went horse back riding on the beach!! SO MUCH FUN!! I am pretty darn proud of myself considering I do not have good luck wiht horses.. and I don't really ride horses EVER.. But these horses were so calm and knew exactly where to go and what to do! It was so neat! We also went to the Blowhole in Ensinada! That was cool to! Both places were so much fun.. and so neat to be able to visit!! So I took around 200-300 pictures.. Maybe more and last night I started downloading them to my computer.. So I'm done with one memory card and am currently working on downloading the rest! So hopefully today I will start posting all the awesome pictures of our GREAT vacation!!

Quick Update!!

We are getting so excited to go on our cruise!! Jonathon comes home from work everyday with new countdown! He's always reminding me how many days there are till we leave.. I'm so excited but I'm a little worried too. Everytime I even think about having to leave Lexi for a whole week I get a little teary eyed.. I'm with her 24/7 so I don't know how I'll be! My mom is so good with her though and usually if my mom is anywhere in sight Alexis has to be with her. So I know she will be in great hands.. I'm more worried about myself.. I think I need Alexis more than she needs me... I just hope that I don't get to sad.. And waste a wonderful vacation! I guess we'll see.. Jonathon is still liking his job and now has both brother in laws, my dad, his cousin's husband, and a cousin of mine... We are definately getting a group down here.. There is also Clint and Tonya Curtis here now.. So it's getting fun! Alexis has more kids to play with and our little branch is getting slightly bigger! Alexis is getting bigger every day and always does something that I didn't know she could do.. She's alot of fun and keeps me entertained! She's always trying to help me clean and do laundry.. She's a lot like me!!! Ha Ha..

We got to go to our old ward this past Sunday.. And it's the same ward that Chris and Summer are in.. We saw a few old faces and it was fun to see all the kids that were just babies when we left as cute little toddlers now!!

BYU Football Game!!

We got to go to the first BYU football game of the season.. on Jonathon's last week off! It was so much fun!! BYU won!! Chris was so great, and got us free tickets!! Alexis got to go with us.. And it was pretty exciting!
