Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was spent with Jonathon's family.. He has a big family and when everyone gets together it is very loud and crazy... but a lot of fun! We got to see his cousins from California, and his Uncle and Aunt from Oregon.. We ate lots of food, listened to the boys play guitar, played pictionary and catch phrase, went to the mall, and visited. We also watched the BYU vs. Utah game which we won!! Alexis had a great time playing with Christian, Mary, and Aleah. Jonathon was very excited to see all his cousins that he hadn't seen in a year.. and it was fun to catch up with everyone.. Thanksgiving is the only time all year that they all get together so it was nice to be able to be there... We were very very sleep deprived all week, but we had a great time!

An Early Thanksgiving :)

My family came up on the 20th and we had an Early Thanksgiving dinner at my house. We invited my moms sister Tina and her family, as well as Jonathon's immediate family. We had a great time :) My mom did all the cooking... because lets face it I just don't cook. The food was excellent and so was the company. We played games, danced and visited :) There were yummy desserts too! I also got to see NEW MOON twice :) I went with Jonathon's mom on the 19th and then I went with my family on the 22nd! I am so glad I got to see it twice :) Anyways we had such a great time with my family.. we always do! I'm so excited to go to Monticellof for X-mas :)

Happy Anniversary :)

Well today yes Thanksgiving Day is our 4 year Anniversary! I just wanted to take a minute to tell Jonathon how much I love him :) I'm so very grateful for everything he does for me. Jonathon is the best husband and I know I don't tell him enough. He is such a huge help to me and is constantly doing things around the house to help me out. He is such a hands on dad and Alexis loves him so much :) Jonathon works so hard to make sure that Alexis and I have the things we need, and I am truly grateful. My husband is very talented and taught himself to play the guitar at a very young age, and can play anything. Jonathon has always written songs as well, and I can't even believe the songs he comes up with. He can write a GREAT song in about an hour.. it is crazy. His home teaching companion has a recording studio is his home, and Jonathon went and recorded a song the other day, and it is AWESOME!! I am very very proud him :) I love you so much babe!! Happy Anniversary...

Alexis Oct. 2009!

These are just two of eight really really cute pics Alexis got from Kiddie Kandids! I wanted to scan all the pics onto my computer.. But I hung them up in my living room before I got the chance and now I really don't want to take them all down :) Anyways she is just so beautiful! I love her so much :)

Journal Entry

Well we are still alive and well...
Monday Alexis went to her dance class again :) She is doing such a great job! She has a little X-mas concert on Dec. 12th and she is so excited!!
Tuesday was Jonathon's first time going to Mutual because of his calling in the Priesthood! He said he loved it :) He is really loving his calling and today was his first official day of teaching. The Bishop actually stays in his class.. (that would be very intimidating) but the Bishop said Jonathon did a great job..
The rest of the week was of course just cleaning, and freezing our bums off.
We got to spend a lot of time together as a family this week.. and have really enjoyed eachothers company.
Today was my 3rd time in Nursery and things are going really good so far. It is a lot of work.. but I really enjoy it :)

We are getting so excited about my family coming up this next weekend. We are going to have a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with everyone because they can't make it for the real Thanksgiving.. So we are going to have a huge feast and then go see NEW MOON!! YAY!

This is just a really very quick post.. because I'm ready for bed. It is so cold outside.. and it just makes you want to cuddle up under the covers :)

Journal Entry

So.. when we first moved to Saratoga Springs.. our ward had 700 people in it!! Yikes it was SO loud.. So just recently the wards got split and our ward is Brand Spankin New! Our Bishop lives right across the street.. and is such a nice guy!
Jonathon and I were called in to meet with the Bishop the other night.. And I am the Jr. Nursery teacher.. and Jonathon is the Young Men's Priest Advisor! We are both very excited about our callings! I'm excited because even though Alexis is supposed to be in the Sr. Nursery.. she comes with her Mom! The kids are so dang cute :) It sure is a work out though...
Jonathon is so excited to be in the Young Men's. He gets to go to Mutual and teach the Young Men. I know with all my heart that he will do such a good job :) We are very excited and love our ward :)

We are getting busier and busier.. Alexis is now in dance.. like I said in an earlier post.. And I'm looking at getting her into a preschool called "Challenger." It is a very good preschool.. It is a private school.. and they start at the age of 3. It is more spendy, but well worth the money.. They learn so much it's crazy.. She would just go on Tuesdays and Thursdays. But we are still in the process of trying to decide. I just think it would be so good for her. We are still getting Tile jobs here and there.. But they are government jobs so they end up being great, and we are very grateful for that :)
I'm still enjoying my job very much... I've now started Laser Hair Removal on my legs :) YAY!! NO MORE HAIR!! So that is awesome!!
We are so blessed every single day with all of the oppurtunities we have! We love love our baby girl.. and we are still so excited for whatever the future brings.. good or bad :)

Halloween 2009!

Halloween was GREAT this year! Alexis was dressed as a butterfly :) And Nicole got to go trick or treating!

Kelly and Nicole came up on Wednesday for Kelly and Keri's b-day! We got to have dinner with them on Wednesday night and I made them a cake :)

Thursday we went with Kelly to get Nicoles pic's taken..

Friday the rest of my family got here.. (except Ami).. cause she's a bum..

We all hung out on Friday night.. and I went and got Alexis' pics taken. We made pizza and watched the Jazz Game!

Saturday the girls went shopping.. and just hung out.. and then we went and got the girls ready! Alexis had SO much fun trick or treating.. Jonathon and her were practically racing to get candy! Jonathon got a whole bag and so did Alexis :) I'm so glad we got to be with both my family and Jonathon's family on Halloween. Alexis and Aleah had the same costume.. And they sure looked cute! After trick or treating we came back to our house and made Spaghetti for dinner! I love when my family comes up to visit! There is just nothing better.. Hopefully Ami gets up here soon! I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween :)
