A great Dad!

Like I said in an earlier post.. We came home from Jonathon's week off pretty early!! We've really been having such a great time relaxing at home and hanging out together!! Last night was the season finale of one of my favorite shows.. "Army Wives" and I assumed I'd miss it because Lexi usually wants to watch her movie before bed.
About ten minutes before it started Jonathon told Lexi to go get her shoes on.. and he said that he was gonna take her out to get some ice cream! Lexi got so excited and said "Bye Mom, I go with Dad!" She had such a big smile on her face!! When they got back they had some ice cream and Jonathon kept her entertained.. so I could finish my show!!

Jonathon is such a great dad!! Every night when he gets home from work he plays with Alexis and they laugh, wrestle, and run around the house like crazy kids!! She has so much fun with him.. And she gets so excited when he walks in the door! Since he works so many hours on his two weeks.. he really makes a huge effort to play with Lexi and spend lots of time with her on his week off!! I just thought it was really cute that he took her on a little daddy, daughter ice cream run!! I just feel blessed to have a guy like him.. and want him to know how much I appreciate the kind of dad he is!!
