Merry X-mas!

Christmas was a lot of fun! It was fun this year because Alexis got so excited to get presents from Santa. She woke-up bright and early and waited patiently for Sorcia and Izzy to get there.. She kept saying Santa and presents and was very anxious to get in there to open her presents.. She got a lot of cool stuff! My mom got her a little learning computer, and a really neat kitchen play set. She got her clothes and shoes and a new baby doll! Uncle Chad and Aunt Kelly got her a little princess blow up bed, that she loves! And Jonathon and I got her a little 4-wheeler powerwheel! So I think she got plenty! The gift she got most excited about was a little thing of Cheetos we wrapped! It was so funny :) I think Alexis really enjoyed her X-mas!! Jonathon and I also got a little carried away at the dollar store.. So she had a whole bag of stocking stuffers!!

"My belly is hurting."
"We don't say that word!"
* "I watch carchons" That is her word for Cartoons!
* "Is my Happy Birthday coming?"
"I can't dance, I have a bandaid on."
* "Oh my gosh, it's not working!"
* "I want to sing my ABCDEFG's" instead of just ABC's
* "That's perfectly fine."
* "I can't do it, I'm to little."
*"What happened to me?"
*"I love you too much!"
While she was going potty... She said "I pushed the poop out!"
*Don't worry about me!
*Well what does that mean Mom?"
* I watch my ABC's mom, I watch my ABC's!
*Alexis - "Mom are you ok" Me - "I have a really bad headache." Alexis - "Don't die mom, okay."
*I watch my movie mom.. Okay
*No way mom, now way..
*Jonathon says "What book do you want to read?" Alexis says "Let me think about it dad."
*"Daddy you a boy, shut door." as Jonathon was going to the bathroom.
*"I did it mom, it's all my fault."
*That's cool mom!

"Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys, or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put them down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life SO much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. Before I was a Mom I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment, or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom."
