Baby update

I just wanted to write a quick update on my pregnancy... I am almost 24 weeks! After my Ultrasound my doctor changed my due date from the 26th to the 23rd. I know it is only 3 days earlier, but I am excited. I feel the baby move constantly now.. and it just makes it that much more real. I love being able to feel her kick!

We've decided to change the name... and I am so excited about the name we've chosen! Jonathon still isn't 100% sure about the middle name.. so that could still change, but for now we are going with Paisley Jade Strickland. I found Kinleigh's name from the show Toddler's and Tiara's, and it is also where I saw Paisley at. I don't really like the show, but it seems like there are lots of cute names. Both families like Paisley more than Mya.

I am getting so excited to meet this little girl. Since I will have a scheduled c-section, we can do it at 39 weeks. So anytime on or after June 16 she will be here! I have less than 4 months.. it seems crazy!

"My belly is hurting."
"We don't say that word!"
* "I watch carchons" That is her word for Cartoons!
* "Is my Happy Birthday coming?"
"I can't dance, I have a bandaid on."
* "Oh my gosh, it's not working!"
* "I want to sing my ABCDEFG's" instead of just ABC's
* "That's perfectly fine."
* "I can't do it, I'm to little."
*"What happened to me?"

While she was going potty... She said "I pushed the poop out!"
*Don't worry about me!
*Well what does that mean Mom?"

*Alexis - "Mom are you ok" Me - "I have a really bad headache." Alexis - "Don't die mom, okay."
*I watch my movie mom.. Okay
*No way mom, now way..
*Jonathon says "What book do you want to read?" Alexis says "Let me think about it dad."
*"Daddy you a boy, shut door." as Jonathon was going to the bathroom.
*"I did it mom, it's all my fault."
*That's cool mom!

"Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys, or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put them down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life SO much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. Before I was a Mom I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment, or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom."
