No More Ba Ba for Lexi...

So Alexis has been very attached to her bottle.. And we decided when she turned 2 that as soon as she ruined her last bottle, that would be it.. So about 2 days ago while being up in Lehi visiting family, she bit her nipple completely in half.. Jonathon and I told her that her ba ba was broken and so she couldn't have it anymore.. I went to the store and got this purple sippy cup.. It's like a botttle kind of to help ease kids off.. So I was a little worried when we went to bed.. because as soon as we laid down she started asking for her bottle... I told her that it was gone and that she just had this sippy cup.. She was pretty sad.. Well she did really good to my surprise.. So the next day we put a lot of different juices and chocolate milk so that she'd drink out of her sippy.. She started getting pretty used to it!! She's done so much better than I thought she'd do.. Last night she didn't wake-up for her bottle at all... When she woke-up this morning she said "milk" and drank from her sippy.. without hesitation!! I'm so happy that the whole "getting her off the bottle thing" has gone so smoothly.. Next is potty training.. I guess we'll see how that goes.. But I'm a pretty proud Mama!!
