Goodbye 2008!

Well 2008 was a fantastic year! In Jan. we were so thrilled to get the job down in Ticaboo and be able to be so close to my whole family! I'm so happy that we had that opportunity and that was the beginning to a great year!

On Feb. 9 my older sister was married in Las Vegas!! It was so much fun to go down and be able to be there for her! We also got to visit family that lives there! Las Vegas is always so much fun and we really enjoyed the couple days we got to be there!

On March 17th Jonathon, Lexi, and I were sealed for time and eternity in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple! It was such a neat experience! To know that I get to be with my family forever and ever is the best feeling in the whole world!

On my mom's b-day in June Kelly and Chad announced the best news! She was pregnant!! It was so neat to be with the family and them give us such wonderful news!

We had the BEST summer ever!! We got to go to Lake Powell almost every day! We had so many fun days there at the lake.. And I am so happy that we got to experience having Lake Powell right in our back yard!! We all got awesome tans! And took a lot of really neat pic's! I will truly truly miss living so close to that gorgeous lake!

Of course Lexi turned 2 years old in July and is our busy busy body! She's always on the run!

In Sept. Jonathon, Chris, Summer, and I went on a cruise to Mexico! It was so much fun! And I hope that I can go on many cruises in my lifetime! We all had such a great time.. And of course took probably too many pic's!!

In Nov. we got to see several of Jonathon's family members that we hadn't seen in quite a while. It was a lot of fun to get to know them better and spend many hours playing volleyball!
Of course Nov. also had its downside.. that's when Jonathon got laid off :( But we are going forward and are excited for what the future holds!

Dec. was also a wonderful month! Little Nicole was born!! We got to spend about a week and 1/2 with my family for X-mas and had a lot of fun playing games and pigging out!

2008 was definitely a busy year.. We had a lot of fun having a full week off between shifts and being able to travel to see my family and Jonathon's as well! At the time shopping for two weeks at a time was pretty annoying.. but it's one of those little things that I will miss now that we don't have to do it.. We met a lot of wonderful people in Ticaboo and had so many fun times!! I feel so blessed for all the wonderful things that happened to us and for us in 2008!

Now it's a brand new year and I'm hoping to accomplish a few things! People always make resolutions.. I'm not sure if I've ever really made one.. But I just hope that 2009 is a good year and that Jonathon and I can keep growing as a couple as well as growing as a family! I hope that everything goes great with the new business and that we are all happy and healthy!
