I went to the Dr. yesterday.. up here in American Fork. And heard the heartbeat again! It was 166 :) I haven't gained any weight from my last appt. and in the last 3 months I've only gained a pound. So kind of happy about that.. but I'm sure I'll start packing on the pounds... lol! Since we are driving up here to see Dr. Willis (I am pretty sure I'm just going to continue to see him up here and have the baby up here.) He went ahead and scheduled my Ultrasound appt. for the same day as my next check up appt! Which is Sept. 8th !!!! I can't believe we will already get to know the sex of the baby next month :) I'm so so excited! I will only be 17 weeks at that time so hopefully the baby is in a good position so that we can find out! Anyways Dr. says everything looks good, so I'm just happy as can be :) We came up here for my appt. of course and also for Jonathon's little sisters farewell. I can't believe it's already time for her to leave on her mission. She is going to Barcelona Spain! So we are spending time with her... and just visiting with Jonathon's family. She goes into the MTC on Wednesday :) By the time she gets back our new addition will already be a year old. That is so crazy to think about... The baby is actually due on her b-day so we told her that if I decide to have another C-section we'll plan it for that day!!
Alexis is getting so dang excited!! I don't know how long she is going to last. I told her yesterday that we were going to the Dr. to check on the baby.. and she said are you having it today? Then the other morning when she woke up she said.. "Is the baby almost here? I really want to get the baby dressed." She is so ready to be a big sister :) She keeps saying she wants a sissy! Most of my family and Jonathon's family thinks it will be a boy.. But I guess we'll see! It would be way fun to have another little girl to dress up :) But my family has too many girls and not enough boys.. so it'd be nice to even it out a little! As of my own personal instinct I think it will be a boy.. but I'm probably wrong.... and that is just fine with me! As long as the baby is healthy I won't complain at all :)
Jonathon and Chad had a full day of services for the Pest Control yesterday.. so that is good! They are getting really excited for next summer.... and I think it will be great!
