Journal Entry

This past week has been a lot of fun! We went up north on Saturday and stayed there till Thursday. We did some clothes shopping.. (got shirts for my growing belly) we visited with Jonathon's family.. we went to Sterlings first football game, which they won! And we sold our truck :( I was sad to see it go.. but we just don't use it enough. It was a great truck though! Alexis and went to the Dr. while we were up there because we had a cough for almost 2 weeks. We got some antibiotics and cough syrup and we are doing much better! Alexis also went to the dentist.. and they said her teeth are perfect! No cavities, and no concerns :) She really enjoys brushing her teeth! I also went to the dentist and the dentist told me I really need to get my wisdom teeth out :( So I'm scheduled to do that at the end of the month.. I'm a little nervous.

Jonathon and Chad stayed pretty busy with the Pest Control stuff while we were up there.. One day they were gone from 9 am to 6 pm doing services!! So that was exciting!

After we got back to Monticello from being up north we drove to Cortez on Friday so that Jonathon could get a physical because he is going to start working out at the Beaver Mine with my dad. I think his first day will be on Tuesday. My dad will be his boss.. and Ami's husband is also on that crew. We decided for him to just do that for the winter because it has good benefits and he'll have Friday, Saturday, and Sundays off so that if we need to run up north for the Pest Control business he can.

We are getting so excited and anxious to find out what the baby is!! I can't wait till Wednesday morning. In the beginning I had a feeling that we were going to have a boy. But for the last couple of days I have really been thinking that it is going to be a girl. So who knows.. I just can't wait to find out!

Today has been a great Sunday! Church was great and we heard a lot of wonderful testimonies. I also got to visit with one of my closest friends from elementary and high school. Christine came over after church and I got to meet her 7 month old little girl Jillian! She is adorable.. We visited for a while and it was really great to catch up! It's always fun seeing old friends :)

We got our very first letter from Crystal yesterday.. and Alexis was so excited! We read the letter to her.. and she said "Mom, I want to write a letter to Auntie tomorrow!" It sounds like she is already learning the language and doing well. She said she really misses everybody and is very excited to find out what the baby is!

Alexis is starting Preschool on Wednesday! I can't believe it :) She is getting so big. She seems very excited to start so I guess we'll see how she does.
