Kinleigh's 5 month check-up :)

We took Kinleigh in to get her 5 month check-up on July 21. She now weighs 13 lbs. 6 oz. and is 25 1/2 inches tall.

Kinleigh is getting so fun! She laughs all the time. She mostly laughs when we tickle her, or if Jonathon throws her in the air, and at Alexis. :) She has the sweetest little smile in the whole world. She just melts my heart when she smiles!

Kinleigh can almost sit up by herself. She sometimes does really well and can stay up for quite a while. But if she gets excited she'll topple over. LOL. Kinleigh started eating Rice Cereal and baby food a couple of weeks ago. She LOVES it! Alexis never really liked anything we fed her. So I'm soooo happy that so far Kinleigh is willing to try anything new. She grabs at everything right now, including my earrings and necklaces. She'll grab onto Alexis' hair and will not let go. She loves to play with just about anything.. from paper plates to water bottles. Ha ha.

Kinleigh still sleeps really good at night. And she naps really good as well. If she doesn't get her naps in, she is NOT happy.
She still HATES her carseat and will usually cry after about 5-10 minutes of being in it.
She LOVES watching Alexis and gets such a kick out of her.
She LOVES when Daddy plays with her and throws her in the air :)
She can already get herself up on her hands and knees and can scoot herself backwards a little at a time. She doesn't really like being on her stomach though, so usually she'll roll over pretty quick.
She just discovered her ears and I'll catch her playing with them when she is laying in her crib.
She still LOVES bath time.
She LOVES swimming, in fact she went swimming for her very first time on July 22!
She still LOVES to stand up and gets super excited because she thinks she is soooo big!
People always ask me if Kinleigh was premature, because she is still so little! But I LOVE IT!
She will NOT let me or anyone else rock her to sleep. She doesn't like to lay her head down long enough. She always has to see what is going on. Sooo luckily she sleeps good in her crib.
Right now she does not like when I put her down. She likes me to tote her around everywhere so that she doesn't miss anything.
She is usually very content to just sit on my lap and hang out though.
She started making grunting noises lately.. and will lay in her crib after her nap and just grunt for about 10 minutes. LOL!
Anyone that gives her attention she will smile at!!

I love my little monkey sooo much!
