Alexis' singing recital!

 My baby girl had her very first singing recital on June 2. She practiced so hard for a whole month straight to memorize her solo song. She'd never heard the song before, and it was a pretty long one. She sang "If we were a movie." by Miley Cyrus. Her teacher picked out all the songs. We spent a lot of time memorizing the words, then practiced it over and over again. I could tell Alexis was pretty nervous while performing because usually she gets really into it and starts dancing. She was just trying to concentrate on remembering all the words :) She did such a great job, and I'm so proud of her. I couldn't have sang in front of all those people... She loves to perform for people, and it seems like she is off to a good start!
