Me at 33 weeks :)
Me at 32 weeks :)As of today I am 34 weeks! I can't believe it :) It is getting so close.. and yet still feels so far away.. ha ha. I had a doc appt. yesterday and babies heartbeat was 158. Dr. says I measure perfectly and that everything looks great! I'll see him again in 2 weeks then every week up until my c-section. Jackie is exactly 2 weeks ahead of me.. and she has her c-section scheduled for Jan. 27. So our babies will be 2 weeks apart :) She is having another little boy and naming him Keaton. I'm excited for her baby to come, because then I'll only have 2 weeks left!!!
For journal purposes.. (and only for that reason) I have gained a total of 35 lbs. already :( Yes it seems like so much.. and I still have 5 weeks left. Every time I get weighed I get a little more depressed.. but it only lasts a second because I'm just too excited about my new baby girl! With Alexis I gained a total of 40 lbs. So I'm hoping I'll only gain around 5 more.. but that probably won't happen. I guess we'll see.
On another note.. my dad started his new job yesterday.. which requires him to travel and be gone 2 weeks at a time. Jonathon said that work just isn't the same without him. My dad is kind of giving this new job a trial run to see if he likes it.. and then he'll decide in a couple of weeks. I know Derek and my mom both hate that he is away for that long.. and it makes me sad too. It was nice getting to see him every day. So maybe he'll hate it and stick with being the boss out at the mine Jonathon is working at.
Jonathon has started his countdown to the day he gets to quit and start selling for his own company. He stays up late just thinking about it.. and is getting very anxious to get out there and sell as many accounts as possible. If everything goes as planned he'll be quitting this job at the end of April. It is scary and exciting all at the same time to think about. But with it being their own company I know that both Jonathon and Chad will do whatever it takes to be successful!
Jonathon is also getting very excited to travel to Phoenix on Sunday to attend the BCS game and watch his Ducks win (hopefully!) My dad isn't going to go anymore because of his new job.. so Jonathon invited Clayton. Clay will drive down on Sunday and then him and Jonathon will head to Arizona. I'm glad that Jonathon is getting the opportunity to go to this game! It has been fun to see his face light up every time someone asks him about it or when he talks about it!
Anyways.. I've been going over stuff in my head every night.. (when I should be sleeping) trying to make sure that I have everything I need for the baby. Today I washed some of Alexis' baby blankets :) I even found the old baby monitor that we used when Alexis was a baby. It still works! I CAN'T wait till she gets here! She is still very active and is always moving. There have been a few times that her feet go up into my ribs and it hurts to breathe for a second. She is probably getting pretty cramped in there. LOL. Alexis can tell that it is getting closer and she keeps asking me if she can hold her, bathe her, dress her, and do just about everything else when she comes :)

A New Year and already so many changes some depressing and with the babies coming, so exciting. I need to just remember that things don't last forever and even with Dad's new job things will change often. Derek turns 17 and I cry just thinking about him leaving home. Try to think happy thoughts. Yeah I am already not like this new job and Dad just started, but I am trying to be supportive. It will be so fun to have a baby around again. Then you guys will leave and that will be sad. Ok I will just not think about it right now and just enjoy it.
