Dr. Willis says...

Well I met with Dr. Willis yesterday. He said that American Fork Hospital will allow him to induce me, but only when I am rated a 10 on the bishop's scale. He also said I would need to be at least 3 cm. dilated. As of yesterday I wasn't anything.. I'm not dilated at all or anything like that :( So he said that I can continue to see Dr. Black in Monticello (so that I don't have to stay up north without Jonathon) and just have him check me a couple times next week to see if anything is happening. Dr. Willis said as soon as Dr. Black rates me a 10 on the bishop's scale to call him and we will set up an induction date at American Fork Hospital. Then if by Feb. 9th (the date of my scheduled c-section) comes and I'm still not making progress I will either just have the c-section or I will continue to wait to see if my body will start doing anything. I will probably then go up north and stay with Kelly and Dr. Willis will check me every couple of days until I'm progressing enough to induce me.
I really hope I can be patient enough because I really do want to try a VBAC. I also hope that when I'm in Monticello I don't go into labor and then have to just have a c-section anyways. I do hope that I will start dilating or doing something in the next couple of weeks so that I can go up north and try a VBAC. It is basically all up to my body.. and I'm just going to leave it in the Lords hands.
So I will talk to Dr. Black on Monday and see if he is even willing to check me a couple of times next week.. or if he'd rather I just stick with the first plan and have a scheduled c-section. If that is the case I may just have to go up north and stay and see Dr. Willis until my body decides to start doing something. So we'll probably have to play the waiting game and hope that something happens to where I will be able to head up north and have a induction date set.

My mom and I went to the South Towne Mall today with Ami and Sam and they went to that Fetal Studio where they will tell you what you are having. The Ultrasound Tech said he is 200% sure it is a girl! So we'll have more girls in this family :) I'm excited for Ami and Sam!

Jonathon decided that he didn't want to drive the 4 hours up north with us.. so he and Alexis stayed home. They've been having a daddy, daughter weekend :) Alexis called me today.. and said "Mom, Dad isn't watching me." I was like oh yeah what is he doing? She says "He is watching basketball and I don't want to watch it." Then I hear Jonathon in the background say "Did you really call your mom?" He was laughing so hard, and he couldn't believe that she called me and told on him. Ha Ha. She is hilarious. Anyways she said that she is having a good time with her dad. Derek and I will be driving back to Monticello tomorrow, and my mom is going to Elko to visit my Dad for a few days.

I wish that Kinleigh would just decide to come tonight. Sam and Ami are up north visiting his mom, My dad is up here in Salt Lake for meetings.. and of course Derek, my mom, and I are up here.. so Jonathon and Lexi would just have to drive up. Of course things don't ever happen when it would be simple.. LOL
